Why it's time to CELEBRATE YOU!!!
With another Woman's Day coming up, I felt it was a good time to let out my thoughts about this day and how we as Women should use this day as an excuse to celebrate our life and success.
First I want to say that no matter where you are in your life, you can always find a reason to celebrate being YOU! No matter what age you are, no matter what shape you are, no matter whether you work or study, no matter if you are single or married, gay or straight....... we all have over come obstacles, we all have achieved some form of goals, we all reached our own milestones, SO CELEBRATE THAT!!!
I want you to sit down and look back and see how far you have come. Did you even imagine you would come this far in the last year?? What has life thrown at you that you didn't expect but yet you overcame it and handled it?? It's time to lift your chin up and hold your head up high because you NAILED IT!
We all have our own journey so never compare yours to someone else's and never judge either. But it's days like these that remind us to see how far we have come and to celebrate our life, celebrate our journey, be thankful for what we have and the experiences that have shaped up till today!
As women, we draw strength from troubles and pain, we smile during distress, and through hope , determination and prayer we achieve, what we first thought was impossible.
STOP putting others first as this day is about YOU and our fellow fierce female tribe! I know most women tend to put other's needs before our own, especially as mothers. Since becoming a mum myself, I too have struggled with this. But this day reminds me the huge amount of strength we have as women, we all have this SUPER POWER so it's our day to shine and celebrate it. So do something special today that's meaningful to you...... buy yourself a gift, take some time to pamper yourself, spend some time enjoying your hobby, buy yourself some flowers, take a well deserved nap, or watch your favorite movie!
BUT HERE IS TO ALL MY FIERCE SUPER WOMEN OUT THERE!! CHEERS!! THIS ONE GOES OUT TO YOU!!
