I often get asked ''How do I know if my hormones are out of balance?''

When hormones are out of balance, it can have widespread effects on various processes in the body. So we can suffer from many signs and symptoms but we are unaware they are related to our hormones.

Hormonal imbalances can result from factors such as aging, stress, medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle choices. Here are some common signs and symptoms that may indicate hormonal imbalances:

Symptoms: Unexplained weight gain or weight loss, especially when not associated with changes in diet or physical activity.

Possible Hormonal Imbalances: Imbalances in insulin, leptin, ghrelin, cortisol, estrogen or thyroid hormones.
