7 WAYS to FAST TRACK your WEIGHT LOSS


So it's that time of year again, when the two words 'WEIGHT LOSS' weigh even more on our minds after the busy holidays and festive season is now over. Here are some quick ways to fast track your weight loss, that you can start today!

1. Focus on drinking more water and less tea/ coffee/ soft drinks/ juices. Getting the body more hydrated makes it easier to increase energy and break down fats

2. Focus on HIGH PROTEIN food sources such as eggs, cottage cheese, chicken, fish nuts, quinoa and lentils. Protein takes longer to digest in the body, so it will keep you fuller for longer as well as keeping your blood sugar levels steady to avoid energy slumps.

3. Don't skip breakfast! How many times have we heard this one?!?!

4. Be more mindful in your actions, especially when you eat. Enjoy your food without distractions such as television or mobile phones. Chew slowly and savor your meal/

5. Sleep more! Rest & Recovery is important to keep our stress hormone cortisol down. Cortisol is a fat storing hormone so we do not want a high level of this hormone for weight loss. Stop over planning or scheduling in too many things and take the time to relax.
