Fitness For Busy Mums
MUMS…..Let’s be REAL!
Who else is trying to juggle all the job roles we have to handle all at once?!?!
*Taking care of the home.
*Trying to be a great parent.
*Trying to keep up with family commitments.
*Trying to catch up on sleep without enough hours in the day.
*Trying to keep face at our job, for those of us that work.
Each of us have so much going on for us, that it can get overwhelming, stressful and way too much pressure, which can lead us to feel even more drained and crazy! We feel unhealthy, unmotivated and lack confidence in ourselves.
And what do we keep hearing about all the time? What do all the doctors recommend? What do we know that we need to do to feel better and healthier? Don’t we hear that we need to make time for ourselves? Don’t we hear that we shouldn’t pour from an empty cup? What do we constantly see being posted about on social media? ……… Yep, you know it……. EXERCISE!!!!
We are lucky if we even get to have a shower on some days……..how are suppose to add EXERCISE to our never ending to do list?!?!?!
I know exactly how you feel, as I experienced a lot of new anxieties once becoming a mum myself. Some days leaving the house with my baby, made me anxious. Having to be somewhere by a specific time, while handing a child can give you even more stress and anxiety. The days I could go with the flow and do things on my own time schedule (or my baby’s schedule for that matter) worked much better for me and helped me feel a lot more at ease. And what was the one thing that helped ease my anxiety, but I wasn’t making any time for?? ……. EXERCISE!!
However seeing other mums on social media being able to keep up with mum & baby groups / work / classes / fitness sessions & exercise etc can make your feel like you’re doing it all wrong. Getting over the fear and finding what works for you instead of comparing to other mums is the first step.
Listening to my body was very important, so I knew I needed to get moving again but also needed to rest when I could. So a quick 10 minute workout at home was easy for me to handle either while my little one was napping or happily playing on the side. I got those 10 minutes in and it didn’t matter what I was wearing, what time of day it was, whether the nappy bag was fully packed or not and no hassling into the car and getting stuck with traffic. WIN WIN for Mamma!!
It helped calm me, it helped with my energy levels, it helped me think straight again, it helped me sleep better at night and it helped get my strength and energy levels back to keep up with my growing little one! So I designed this online programme just for you ……. THE BUSY MUMS!!
